PM SHRI Schools

PM SHRI Schools (PM ScHools for Rising India) is a centrally sponsored scheme initiated by the Government of India. The objective is to establish over 14,500 PM SHRI Schools, overseen by the Central Government, State/UT Governments, local bodies, as well as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). These schools aim to provide high-quality education in an equitable, inclusive, and joyful environment for students. They focus on nurturing lifelong learners who actively participate in their learning process and contribute to building an equitable and plural society, as envisioned by the National Education Policy 2020.
